Nothing makes a memorable meal like a gorgeous filet of wild line-caught fish. In this exciting class, Chef Emily will demonstrate the ideal preparation to highlight the delicate flavors of fresh seafood. We will also learn the recipe to Chef’s famous cheese soufflé made with local artisanal cheeses for a luxurious complement to our fish. Guests will then embark on a private tour and tasting of our wines before returning to the kitchen to enjoy the meal they have created! Each guest will also receive a custom Peju apron.

In this summer culinary experience, Chef Emily Buller will guide you in the art of seasoning and marinating your meats and vegetables for the grill. Begin the day with a visit to our culinary garden to pick fresh vegetables, before learning techniques for traditional outdoor grilling, as well as Chef’s tricks for the stovetop grill pan. Guests will then enjoy a private tour and tasting followed by their farm-to-table creation in the Peju Kitchen! Each guest will also receive a custom Peju apron.

The Peju Private Wine Tasting with Artisan Cheeses (60 minutes) 2-12 ppl
The Peju Private Wine Tasting with Artisan Cheeses is available by reservation only on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 2:00pm. Peju offers a wine experience unlike any other as guests sample four current release wines in a beautiful, intimate setting. Guests will sit down in the Peju kitchen or Rutherford Room where a tasting room ambassador shares the story of each wine, Peju's history and winemaking style. Each wine is paired with locally made artisan cheeses served alongside assorted house-made crackers. $65 per person

Discover the flavors of Peju—sip, sample, chop, peel, and most of all, have fun during our interactive, culinary experience led by Executive Chef Emily Buller in the Peju Kitchen. Chef’s “Farm to Table” meal will be focused on regional flavors, local sources and small farmers. The cooking showcases simple techniques that you’ll be able to use in your own kitchen at home. Whether hands-on or as a tasting observer you’re guaranteed a memorable interactive culinary experience. After prepping lunch with Chef hang up your apron and take a guided tour of the beautiful Peju estate garden. Next enjoy a private tasting of Peju wines accompanied by local artisan cheeses in our famous Tasting Tower. Following your tasting, guests will move to the Peju Kitchen to experience Executive Chef Emily Buller’s “Farm to Table” luncheon—a regional culinary exploration of seasonal dishes prepared and served to guests in the Peju Kitchen, perfectly paired with tastes from our cellar. Please allow three hours for your Interactive Culinary Experience and Chef’s luncheon.
