Peju Toasts the San Francisco Concierge!

Herta and Lisa Peju spread some holiday cheer, and Peju wine, to the San Francisco Concierge at the 11th Annual Concierge Holiday Bash at Bistro Boudin Restaurant at Fisherman’s Wharf.
The event on December 4 drew more than 250 San Francisco Concierge who toasted the holiday season with wines from Napa and Sonoma vintners and Boudin’s famous homemade breads and chowders.

A bottle of HB gifted in Japan

PFU Systems Exports invited the President of the LPGA Japan tour, Ms. Hisako Higuchi, (winner of the U.S. LPGA Championship in 1977) to the PFU Pro-Am golf tournament on Monday Oct. 13 in the Tokyo area. Ms. Higuchi was gifted a bottle of Peju’s flagship H.B. Cabernet Sauvignon to commemorate the day, which also happened to be her 63rd birthday.

HB and Lisa Peju spread the Peju love throughout the Hawaiian Islands in August while hosting winemaker dinners, pouring in trade and consumer tastings and supporting benefit events throughout Maui and Oahu.
Their travels introduced them to many wonderful Hawaiian retailers and wine lovers, and even world-class surfer Tony Moniz!

Pejus Speak at Stanford University

Winery Owners Tony Peju and Ariana Peju made a special trip to Stanford University on Monday, July 7 to participate in the school’s esteemed Summer Institute for General Management Program as guest speakers.
The students, who are attending the six-week program from around the world, are honing the skills needed to become successful business leaders and owners. Tony shared his story of carrying out the American Dream – how 26 years of drive, passion, hard work, vision and sacrifice have yielded one of Napa Valley’s most flourishing wineries and tourist destinations.
The speaking engagement wouldn’t have been complete without a surprise appearance from Peju’s staple vintertainer – Alan Arnopole. The popular tasting room educator, singer and rapper surprised and delighted the class with his classic rendition of the “Napa Valley Rap” to close the afternoon in Peju fashion. |

San Francisco 49ers 8th Annual Celebrity Winter Wine Fest

In early April, 2008, Peju Winemaker Sara Fowler hit the slopes in Squaw Valley, Lake Tahoe, for the San Francisco 49ers 8th Annual Celebrity Winter Wine Fest to support the 49ers Foundation. The weekend featured football, food and wine with 49ers players, coaches and Olympians joining some of Napa and Sonoma’s most esteemed vintners to raise funds to support development programs for underserved youth in the Bay Area.
Sara had a fabulous time showcasing Peju wines to the group of more than 500 attendees while supporting a worthwhile community effort!
