Harvest finally wrapped up after a late vintage marked by heavy rainfall early in the season and persistent “June gloom” conditions over summer. The silver lining is that our vineyards received much-needed relief after years of drought and the fruit quality is superb. Thank you, Mother Nature!
This holiday season we celebrate our 40th harvest and the life of our visionary founder, father and husband, Tony Peju. He was a force of nature with a quick wit, a playful sense of humor, and was fiercely loyal and dedicated to his family, winery, and the guests and members who he always said, “kept him off the street.”
Tony and HB founded Club PEJU to share extraordinary wines with club members. In this shipment, we’ve selected wines that are sure to complement hearty meals and cozy winter evenings. Winemaker Sara Fowler & team have poured their passion and expertise into crafting these gems, and we can’t wait for you to experience them.
We hope these wines will bring warmth and joy to your winter celebrations. As you raise a glass of Peju with those you love, know that you are also raising a glass with our family and honoring our beloved founder, Tony. 1937 – 2023.
